Kredyt Inkaso successfully completed the refinancing operation and the issue of new bonds for a total amount of PLN 175 million

On 26 April 2022, Kredyt Inkaso repaid F1 series bonds and secured the new K1 series, as well as completed the refinancing operation for the total amount of PLN 158 million. In the same period, the Company also issued I1 series bonds totalling PLN 17 million. Thanks to this, it will be possible to increase the investment activity of the entire organisation.

In the last month, Kredyt Inkaso issued a series of I1 bonds addressed to individual investors and two series of 7-year K1 and J1 bonds, whose recipients were institutional investors. The total amount of the described operations reached the level of as much as PLN 175 million. The funds obtained as a result of the issue of K1 and J1 series were used by the Company to repay bonds with maturities falling within the next few quarters. The last elements of the refinancing operation were the redemption of the remainder of the F1 series and the establishment of collateral for the new K1 series. This stage was completed on 26 April 2022. Notwithstanding the unstable situation on the markets due to the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, Kredyt Inkaso also successfully closed the issue of bonds addressed to individual investors within the last month. As part of the I1 series, investors acquired bonds with a total value of PLN 17 million.

“The process of refinancing the debt by Kredyt Inkaso with 7-year bonds, which was just completed, proves the confidence of institutional investors in organising and recognising the large potential of the entire debt management industry. Our sector has shown in recent years, which were characterised by high volatility and unpredictability, that it is acyclic and resistant to external factors. On the other hand, Kredyt Inkaso, thanks to continuous improvement of processes, achieves ever better results, which is also not overlooked by investors.” – said Maciej Szymański, President of the Management Board of Kredyt Inkaso. It is worth noting that the F1 series, which the Company just acquired, was one of the largest issues in the debt management industry in Poland and was issued in the challenging period of 2019” – adds Maciej Szymański.

Kredyt Inkaso Group recorded very good financial results in three closed quarters of the financial year 2021/2022 (ended 31 December 2021). At the consolidated level, net revenues amounted to PLN 161.2 million, which is an increase compared to the financial year 2020/21 by 26%. In turn, the net profit reached the level of PLN 41.1 million (an increase of 134%). Thanks to the good financial results and the refinancing operation that was just completed, and the acquisition of new debt, the Company will be able to intensify its investment activity through greater use of current funds for the purchase of new debt portfolios. Kredyt Inkaso is also considering yet another issue of bonds addressed to individual investors, as part of the prospectus approved by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority in 2021.
